We were about to go out one afternoon and wanted to snap a photo of Gillian in her new outfit. We charged around looking for a suitable place, then, once we decided on our favourite arm-chair, the search began for the camera. Before we knew it, she had semi-dozed off.

Be careful!
Be careful!
A long time ago, I threw a party to celebrate my 35th birthday. This was back in the days when I still threw parties. This was before I met my wife and still had much to prove. Anyway, friends came via the usual modes of transport - cars, motorbikes, etc - and parked in the courtyard in front. My nieces, concerned with the safety of our Tiger and Casper, wrote dozens of notes (similar to the one above) and attached them to each of the parked vehicles. How cool is that?

This is baby Gillian with yet something else on her head. I was preparing her for a bath and decided to shape her t-shirt into a makeshift turban. Hahaha. That last photo in the sequence is really priceless. She'll either hate me for it or hate me more for uploading it on to the net. Or both.

Number 53 of "Stuff White People Like" is Dogs. Here is my favourite:
dogs are considered training for having children. ... This will prepare them for responsibility by having another creature to feed, supervise it’s bathroom activities, and to love.
The arrival of children will not result in said canine's displacement. The dog "remains as the most important member of the household" because "white children will eventually hate their parents, but dogs will love anyone who feeds them".

morning baby!

morning baby!

Unlike her nocturnal father, baby Gillian is such a morning creature. She shows off her best selection of smiles as soon as she wakes in the morning.
